Letters, memos, notes and minutes relating to the upkeep and administration of the Old Manse Library (Newcastle, N.B.). In particular the file discusses Beaverbrook's plans to restore the library grounds to what they had been in his father's time. A photograph of the structure and sketches of the proposed layout of the garden and shrubbery are included. Also on file are minutes of Library Board meetings; copies of the Librarian's reports which contain information on the number of new members, books loaned, gifts, visitors, special activities, etc., as well as reports of committees--Finance, House and Grounds, Publicity and Extension. CBC Radio broadcasts of interviews with Louise Manny are noted and mention is made of the death of Beaverbrook's youngest sister (Mrs. Ramsay).
